The most important for the proper growth of the plants and crop is the light, water and other nutrients, there are only few plants which grow without the intake of the light, but for most of the plants light is the most vital aspect for their sustenance and proper growth.

Since most of the people are approaching for the indoor gardening, hence they require relatively high levels of light for their plants. But the artificial light which is used in the indoor garden has very low intensity. As a result gardeners need more amount of light.

For instance, if a person is growing tomatoes in the month of February with the help of some weak fluorescent light then all the crops will be spindled and hence their will not be proper growth.

But if a person is having a proper lighting system in which he has used Mylar rolls to reflect the light in the whole room then he can get his required output of the tomatoes in the month of January also. A person has to be wise in using the different sources of the artificial light and Mylar for the adequate growth of the plants.
