Hair Loss Treatment Baldness Remedy

Any hair growth cycle would involve some amount of daily hair loss. 90% of our hair is in a growing stage with 10% in resting phase. However, when the hair loss goes beyond the normal limits, the thinning is noticeable. These include: Why does hair loss take place? It affects men and women and the hair loss is very rapid. Generally caused due to immunity disorder where the body’s own white blood cells attack the hair follicles. Alopecia Totalis is another reason for hair loss where all the scalp hair has fallen. It is called male pattern baldness. Male hormone testosterone could also be another contributing factor. Skin diseases: this can affect the scalp and be the reason for hair loss. Such conditions include dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, scalp fungus such as ringworm and tinea captis.

Sudden illness or fever: hair can come off in large tufts after an illness or fever. This is a temporary event though and soon passes off.

The other common factors which can also result in hair loss include childbirth, menopause, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and getting old. Though these are the primary reasons for hair loss, there could be several others also.

Hair loss can be treated when you can stop hair fall and promote re-growth. A few of the natural hair loss treatments include:

1. Including vitamins A, B, C and E would accelerate new hair growth. What is the importance of these vitamins? They not only provide sebum, they also help in increase of blood circulation to the scalp by absorbing more oxygen and collagen.

2. Caring for your scalp: If you regularly massage your scalp with herbal oils like olive oil, jojoba oil, amla oil you would be greatly benefited. Some natural therapy like essential oils of thyme, rosemary, lavender and cedar wood, are known for their efficacy in the treatment of alopecia areata.

3. Concern for scalp abuse: Blow drying and using chemical shampoos daily are to be avoided. You can severely damage hair and scalp by coloring as well as straightening. Daily hair wash with hot water depletes hair of natural oil and turn break-prone.

4. Using herbal care: Using powders of amla, shikakai, henna and ritha as shampoo and conditioner can be an effective treatment. Prevention of graying and hair loss could be achieved if you use amla powder, an effective anti-oxidant and one of the richest sources of natural vitamin C. Also known as the Fruit for hair, shikakai is known for its low pH and can make a great shampoo which cleanses hair without removing any natural oil. Use henna then which plays its role as a natural conditioner.

5. Bring lifestyle changes: Reduce stress, an important factor in hair loss. Do this by doing exercises and meditation. Give up Smoking: Smoking causes constriction of the blood vessel which supply blood to the scalp. If you want to prevent damage to the scalp from UV rays, avoid exposure to the sun.
